Very cold Winter visit but we were expecting it. Got in for $6 during a special promo for the Pats winning the SuperBowl. Two kids 9 and 7. Had the place mostly to ourselves. Had a great time though. Plenty to see outdoors and indoors, the tropical building was GREAT. And the staff had plenty of time for Q&A since it was pretty quiet for a Saturday. We will come back during the summer.
Franklin Park was a fun zoo, there are a lot of animals and exhibits to see. From lions, to tiger and......Gorilla! There does seem to be a lack of organization, and security in regards to staff. But the animalsare wonderful! We particularly loves the new dinosaur exhibit!
The zoo is very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and cooperative. The place is neat and clean. It is a good option for a family outing.
Good zoo. Well kept animals. Friendly, sparse, staff. Big enough to enjoy, not so huge it was overwhelming. GREAT playground for kids to run and climb. Red panda, prairie dog exhibits were cool& new.
Great place to take the family.. A membership is definitely the way to go it pays for itself the 1st time and of course you are able to go to both zoos for an entire year.. Both zoos are unique In their Entirety... definitely 2 different experiences, my kids love and enjoy both.
