We came here for a weekend and stayed (as you can see) in the renovated bus. It was fantastic.I traveled to school on the old double deckers when I was young and so this was a nostalgia feast! From the drivers cabin that has been maintained in its original form, to buttons to alert the driver, it brought it all flooding back.That's not too say you're slumming it! Everything in the bus has been done well. A surprisingly generous kitchen area is well stocked with pans and knives etc while the table opposite will easily sit five despite being thin.There is a small television, though the manner of its position means that extensive viewing will give you neck ache... Having said that, you're on holiday, what the hell are you doing watching television?The beds upstairs are comfortable and and well laid out. You can easily sleep six. At the far end is the toilet and shower; compact.Outside, you'll find a tripod thing for BBQs and a picnic bench for eating outside. There is also the toilet block for the rest of the campers and even though it was a little too close for me, traffic is hardly notable. All in all, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.
Lovely little sight, a real hidden gem. Mark and Leigh make you feel very welcome. Spotless facilities too.This was our third visit and will definitely be going back.
Fantastic, came here for a 3 night getaway in one of their static caravans.Wonderful location, so very peaceful, easily accessible but there is no traffic noise, loved it.The site is very well maintained with all needs catered for and the fishing is great, all the pegs are sturdy and well looked after.Wonderful hosts. Everyone we spoke to were repeat visitors, which says it all!!We will definitely be back.Highly recommend this place to de stress and totally relax.
Fantastic site. We took our tent but next time it's one of the bell tents, they are beautiful. Can't recomemd the peaceful surroundings enough.
What a beautiful place. Stayed on the double decker bus which was awesome. We'll fitted out and yet nostalgic too. Waking up to sit by the fishing pool with a coffee each day was just a great start to the day. Staff were lovely too: friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.
